Hey there fellow psychopath's and screw-ups, and welcome to BLACKWOOD! We are an intermediate to advanced roleplay site based in an asylum for the mentally disturbed. There are all kinds of people here, some who stay year round, some who are only here for a short time, and what others call "lifers". There are teachers trained for these kinds of things, and really freaking annoying psychologists that think they know everything about you. There's drama, there's betrayal, there's love, and there can even be blood here at Blackwood Asylum. So if you're up for joining some serious hellfire like this, go read up on the rules, the plot, and get going on your application!

Blackwood Asylum is located smack dab in the middle of Washington State. What does that mean folks? It's humid, it's hot, it's crowded, and you can almost always count on people with ridiculous accents. Not to mention it can get dangerous with high crime rates and the size of the city--makes it easy to get lost. So be careful, and don't let the security at Blackwood catch you out in and about without supervision!

	This is the place where families can be reunited for a brief period of time. Low risk patients get to spend more time with their visitors as opposed to the medium and high risk patients since the visitation rights vary between each risk level. Each patient will be strip searched before entering and leaving this room.	0	0

	Upon arrival, each doctor is given an office for medical research and other Blackwood related topics. Each office is of same setup: the same mahogany desk, in the same spot, with the same couch for private lounging. The asylum provides each doctor with their very own computer with limited access to the internet to complete medial tasks. Offices can be used for individual therapy with the patients as well.	0	0

	Usually practiced with the lower risk patients to encourage interaction between the patients and staff.	0	0
	The art studio is a new therapeutic method to the patients that is voluntary and available to all three risk levels. All art supplies are under lock and key and are moderated by Marshall Khazmiere Duclair. So if a patient would like to use them, they must consult Marshall. Residency Areas
	At Tribecca University, there is an abundant supply of positive atmosphere. With over one thousand acres of land (exactly one thousand, two hundred, and sixty-four acres of land), the students here have vast opportunities to complete their goals. This university focuses solely on medical research and technological advances, providing the students with the latest and greatest there is to offer. The only thing greater than the ever-so-supportive faculty, is the tuition and requirements. 	Although not as spacious or popular as Tribecca University, expanding at approximately four hundred and forty acres of land, most will find that Deverson State College is a more affordable alternative. There is a healthy balance between electives and the funding is split equally amongst the courses. However, some might find that the equipment and textbooks are outdated, or in some cases, even obsolete compared to other colleges. A relatively nice campus (tidy, well kempt) overpowers the fact that there is miniscule funding going into the materials.	0	0
	After graduation (whether from college or high school), some individuals may seek the solace of a permanent home to settle down in. While the activity in the neighborhood is particularly low, there is an occasional naughty neighbor that just wishes to taint Goodheart Rd’s reputation. The houses are divided up into rows, each of similar construction and a uniform color (different values of beige). Not exceeding more than two stories and a community pool just around the block, this location is preferable to both lower middle class individuals and family.	0	0
	Those who produce a low income might have to resort to Alligator Creeks Apartment complex. Despite what the name suggests, there is a lack of wildlife roaming the lot, perhaps implying that even the animals have enough common sense to stay away. The dried out grass makes for an unappealing first impression when one views the exterior; the owners attempt to mask the lack of color with pavement as an excuse. As far as interior goes, there is one bed, one bath, and a kitchen to survive off of. Furniture is included, though it would be wise to provide your own to save from the unsanitary conditions.	0	0
